"Breakfast in the garden of Eden" Gastronostrum
In farmhouses the kitchen has always been the heart of the house and we have respected this tradition from our very beginning. Today, it is still the most popular place for many guests to linger throughout the day.
Breakfasts are served with no time limit for those who enjoy the communal table and an abundance of local produce, eggs cooked to your specifications, Teruel cured ham carved as you watch, artisan cheeses, fresh orange juice, quince jelly, jams and honey and, of course, the essential ‘pan con tomate’ prepared with our own olive oil. In fine weather, breakfasts on the terrace will start your day with spectacular views.
All guests are welcome to our informal ‘chef’s table’ throughout the day to watch our team at work, exchange recipes and learn some of the professional tricks of the trade. Our ‘open kitchen’ philosophy creates a very social space where conversation and friendships spring up spontaneously.
