The traditional agricultural activity in our area, dating back to Roman times, is the olive. These beautiful, ancient gnarled trees produce the wonderful ‘liquid gold’ extra virgin olive oil, the touchstone of the healthy Mediterranean diet and secret of longevity. From our native ‘empeltre’ and ‘arbequina’ varieties on the farm we produce a certified organic olive oil of great quality. Learn about the process of harvesting, pressing and identifying the different characteristics in these practical sessions.
Our area of Spain produces a wonderful variety of little known, artisan goats and sheeps cheeses both fresh and mature. The tastings, led by our enthusiastic expert Amador Sánchez will introduce you to this fascinating world and a selection of notable varieties not commonly available in the shops.
